Catholic Relief Services is committed to improving the health and food security status of Gambian households and especially that of women and children, the most vulnerable groups. Most of CRS' current program efforts reflect innovations and investments directed toward the improvement in income generation and physical well-being of these two groups.
With a current focus on health programs, CRS The Gambia is making inroads in malaria prevention, maternal and child nutrition, HIV and AIDS voluntary counseling and testing, as well as care and support of people living with HIV and AIDS.
